One would think it would have been placed on the USPS semi and driven to my zip code the day it was tagged as "MISSENT." Maybe I'm too nice, but I think it's too soon to inform the seller that it's now past the expected delivery date. Either computer glitches, or they just didn't get around to delivering it for a few days, and the driver (or someone) made up excuses to put into the tracking status. ![]() And the replacement product showed up a few days later. The original package showed up a day or two after I contacted the sender. ![]() The third tracking "update" said "delivery exception, returning to sender, no such address." So I contacted sender to have them send me replacement product, which they did even before receiving the returning package (exceptional customer service). The second "attempt" was "no access to property" on a sunny day with a perfectly clear and salted street, driveway, and walkway. The first "attempt" was "no such address,", at the address I've lived at for decades, with a computer printed label from a vendor I've bought many things from in the past (same address and labeling system). I had a package recently that they had trouble delivering. Give if at least an extra week and see what happens before you get too worried. Sometimes the tracking just doesn't reflect reality. Maybe UPS workers are immune from COVID ? Wrong PO sat on it for a couple of weeks, but yes ultimately delivered. I had one sent via DHL with final delivery by USPS.ĭHL took forever and eventually dropped at wrong PO. The only one that came close to being lost was something sent DHL eCommerce. If it's been almost 2 months since you bought it, you haven't gotten it, and the seller won't help you, file a chargeback. Maybe not, maybe it'll show up randomly in a couple months. If it's been more than 2 weeks from the last tracking update, it's gone. They get marked as delivered, and then actually show up a week later. They get put on the "slow boat" from NJ (I don't know what that boat does, but it doesn't seem to actually go anywhere). They get put on the wrong truck and go to that other state. They get put on a truck, but don't get scanned. Packages get stuck/lost at various "sorting centers" around the country. Ask them for a resolution a week after that if they haven't offered one yet: "Tracking still hasn't updated, please help me with a resolution now, thanks!". Notify them again a week after that: "Tracking still hasn't updated, it might be lost?". Not to be like "Where is my package!?!" They don't know. Just to notify: "Tracking hasn't updated, it might be lost?". Since you are expecting a package from a seller, contact the seller to notify them if it is now beyond their indicated expected time frame for delivery from ship date.
